Chennai: Real estate major Hirco Development Pvt Ltd announced that it will handover the first group of flats in its flagship township Hiranandani Palace Gardens at Oragadam on the outskirts of Chennai on June 6. The Palace Gardens is among Chennai’s largest township projects and will have 10,000 apartment units.
As part of the first phase, 928 apartments are under construction across two towers of 15 floors, six towers of 27 floors and 11 low-rise buildings. Hirco is also providing infrastructure such as road, water, power and waste management.
Aniruddha Joshi, executive director and V Suresh, principal executive officer, Hirco told media persons that with the work for the two flagship projects one each at Panvel (Maharashtra) and Orgadam (Tamil Nadu) under way, close to 66 million sq-ft will be added to the company’s project portfolio. The Palace Gardens in has been designed as a self-contained community with offices, schools, retail, healthcare and recre ational facilities.
The township will have public spaces such as large parks, neighbourhood gardens and children’s play areas covering 369 acres. “We focus on every aspect of the construction to bring out the best quality and finishing. Our desire is to create a benchmark in Chennai,” said Suresh.
